She’s completed her mission and I’m expecting a call. any. minute.
Happy Halloween!
Fleet Week.

It’s fleet week right now in San Francisco. Friday was our market team meeting at work and we ended the day by going on a cruise in the bay to watch the Blue Angel performance.
I love half days of work – especially when the rest of the week I was working 12-14 hour days. I love seeing co-workers I never get to see. And I LOVE being on the water.
Saturday Night.

First stop was the Relief Society Broadcast. Amazing. Elder Uchtdorf gave a talk entitled Forget Me Not. Forget Me Nots happen to be Alaska’s state flower and hold an oddly sentimental place in the hearts of those that live there – mine included. It made me love the talk that much more.
Stop number two was in the mission. We ate pupusas then walked across the street to Humphry’s where we tried candied ginger, honey & thyme, and olive oil ice creams.
Sunrise Yoga.
Updates.
1. I got back from Alaska and was in San Francisco for a week before jetting off to AZ for work. We were out there for two and a half weeks. It was HOT. We worked hard and played harder. And let’s not forget the food! Pretty sure I had steak almost every night. I opted to stay in AZ during the weekends and spent time with friends and family.
But the most import thing that happened was going through here…
My family all met in AZ for a weekend to be there with me. It was a wonderful experience.
2. I MOVED! Just to a different house in the city, but it’s the most glorious thing ever. Awesome roommates. Dishwasher. Washer and Dryer. Tons of parking. Safe neighborhood. Pictures to come.
3. My first week back at work in the bay area was spent in Novato, about 30 minutes over the Golden Gate bridge. The building we worked in was amazing. The architect was I.M. Pei. Apparently he’s a pretty big deal. I felt silly taking pictures of the building, but I did manage to snap a photo of the view, which again, was amazing (the picture doesn’t do it justice). Oh, and I saw my first wild turkey.
4. Last night a group of us went to Union Square to watch Roman Holiday. Audrey Hepburn is my fave.
Utah and a Wedding.

On the way back from Alaska I stopped in Utah for Mandi and Quinn’s wedding. It was beautiful and she made a breathtaking bride.
I also got to spend a lot of time with one of my best friends in the world, Michelle, and her husband Scott. So, so good to see them.
And of course, I had to stop at my most favorite place to eat in the entire world: Guru’s. The sweet potato fries are to die for and the people watching is superb – especially if you like to observe and analyze people on dates. Katelyn and I went there at least once a week for a solid two years or so. Garrett and Karli joined me at Guru’s. How serendipitous that I got to see them before their big move. I love those two.
